I worked in progressive politics for over a decade. I managed competitive congressional campaigns, served as Chief of Staff of Operations for a presidential campaign, negotiated community improvements while working in Chicago City Hall, and was a congressional staffer in the US Capitol. I’m no stranger to high stress environments. My strong suit has always been staying calm and spreading positive energy even in hectic times.
I love cultivating community and always stand by my values. I cherish intentional connection and wild fun times. I go to bat for people I care about. I love telling your stories and spreading the joy that is your love through the world.

I bring value to my shoots by showing up warmly and intentionally.
I love getting to know you so I can genuinely capture your unfiltered love. I value providing a safe, grounding presence – while still gassing you up and having a great time. I show up more like a friend than a vendor. Because when you feel comfortable in your skin, that’s your real personality shines through. That’s when the magic happens.
I blend in. I observe your natural behavior. I notice the way you instinctively reach for each other. I know the real, honest moments make phenomenal photographs and films – and that’s what I will capture for you.
I kindly coach you within your own rhythm – encouraging movement, goofiness, dancing – so the moments we capture are real, but elevated.
I move smoothly between still and motion cameras, often finishing a sequence on Super 8 — encouraging you to loosen up, walk, spin, breathe, move. As you transition from one moment to the next, I capture the in-between action on motion film.
With hybrid coverage, no moment is wasted. The energy stays relaxed. The vibe never turns into a production. You don’t feel like you’re “switching” between photo and video. It all happens organically, within the same flow.
