Magic Milk

Chocolate milk is back.

A chocolate milk brand built around a warm childhood memory has an obvious home in the analog movement.

Why Super 8?

There's a difference between looking nostalgic and being honest about where a brand comes from — and customers can tell. A digital filter that mimics grain and light leaks is a costume. Real Super 8 film is a material fact: light hitting a physical strip of chemistry, imperfect and unrepeatable, the same way it was when a parent pulled out the family camera to catch a kid with a chocolate milk mustache. That difference isn't cosmetic. It's the whole point.

Consumers have gotten fluent in spotting manufactured nostalgia. They've seen a decade of brands slap a VHS overlay on slick, over-lit content and call it "vintage." That move reads as costume, not character — and increasingly, it reads as a red flag. Authenticity has become one of the most valuable currencies a brand can hold, precisely because it's the hardest thing to fake convincingly. Shooting on real film isn't a style choice Magic Milk is making; it's a values statement. It says the brand isn't interested in performing a feeling — it's interested in earning one.

Analog is having a real cultural moment right now, not as an aesthetic gimmick but as a response to digital fatigue. Film cameras, vinyl, printed photos, physical media — all trending upward because people are craving things that feel tactile, slow, and real in a world that's increasingly synthetic and algorithmically optimized. People are actively looking for permission to unplug, to be present, to connect with each other instead of a feed. A chocolate milk brand built around a warm childhood memory has a natural, almost obvious home in that movement.

That's the deeper opportunity here: Magic Milk isn't just marketing nostalgia, it's an opportunity to live it. A brand built on memory and connection should show up the way those memories were actually made — unfiltered, a little imperfect, made with real light and real film, not manufactured for a feed. Real Super 8 footage isn't decoration on top of that story. It is that story, in the medium it always belonged in.

Meet YourVideographer

Hi, I’m Gabie.

I bring value to my shoots by showing up warmly and intentionally.

I love getting to know you so I can genuinely capture your unfiltered love. I value providing a safe, grounding presence – while still gassing you up and having a great time. I show up more like a friend than a vendor. Because when you feel comfortable in your skin, that’s your real personality shines through. That’s when the magic happens.

I blend in. I observe your natural behavior. I notice the way you instinctively reach for each other. I know the real, honest moments make phenomenal photographs and films – and that’s what I will capture for you.

I kindly coach you within your own rhythm – encouraging movement, goofiness, dancing – so the moments we capture are real, but elevated.

I move smoothly between still and motion cameras, often finishing a sequence on Super 8 — encouraging you to loosen up, walk, spin, breathe, move. As you transition from one moment to the next, I capture the in-between action on motion film.

With hybrid coverage, no moment is wasted. The energy stays relaxed. The vibe never turns into a production. You don’t feel like you’re “switching” between photo and video. It all happens organically, within the same flow.

And years from now? You won’t just see your wedding day. You’ll step back into it.

Nothing forced. Nothing stiff. Just your honest story, preserved on film.

  • “I can't stress enough about how Gabie made me feel beautiful and comfortable.”

I celebrated my 30th birthday with a portrait shoot, but I'm also really nervous and awkward behind the camera. Gabie was so understanding and we collaborated on what we could do to make the environment as comfortable for me as possible (music, snacks, drink). Also, I'm not a glitz and glam gal so I wanted something to do something more subtle. I made a vision board and Gabie helped me execute it beyond my expectations!!

Gabie's personality is warm and infectious, which spills into the photos she takes. She genuinely cares about carrying out her client's visions and will direct clients gently based on the best intentions of getting the SHOTS!! I can't stress enough about how Gabie made me feel beautiful and comfortable. I'm sooo glad I worked with Gabie!!!
